Hytera PD605 - DMR handheld radio

Slim DMR handheld radio with metal frame housing.

With new software (R9.0): As a result of legal patent litigations, the TDMA direct mode was removed for digital operation. With the Hytera patented Pseudo Trunking two parallel calls in direct mode are still possible.
The PD605 impresses with its lightweight design, range of functions and excellent value for money. With its compatible metal housing, outstanding voice quality and support of digital and analog radio, the PD605 is a breath of fresh air for your radio communication.
The PD605 handheld radio is designed in accordance with the DMR standard and therefore meets all the open standard’s requirements.

Thanks to the TDMA process, the PD605 enables you to assign the available bandwidth with double the number of channels. This has a clear mitigating effect on the increasing spectrum scarcity encountered when using DMR radio systems.
The frequency range in UHF stretches from 400 MHz to 527 MHz.
The PD605 possess both an analog mode and a digital mode and is compatible with analog radio systems; as a consequence it is very easy for you to change to the digital age.
The variant with a GPS module supports applications such as Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) to optimize your workflow.
The optional Man Down alarm function automatically alerts other radio subscribers and/or the control room, if the operator falls over and stays down.
The expansion interface gives users and application developers the option to expand the PD605 range of functions to include other useful features.
The two knobs on the PD605 are separated by the antenna to prevent operating errors, even when wearing gloves or in poor light conditions.
The PD605 meets all the requirements of the open DMR ETSI standard (ETSI-TS 102 361-1, -2, -3), the MIL810-C/D/E/F/G standard and degree of protection IP67 (waterproof up to one meter deep for at least 30 minutes of immersion). These handheld radios therefore offer outstanding features even under harsh operating conditions.
Compared to the FDMA process in analog mode, with TDMA the battery service life can be improved by approximately 40% when using DMR.
The upgradeable software makes the use of new features possible. By altering the firmware-software, other digital and analog operating modes can be enabled, without the need for purchasing a new radio device.
